Lets give a listen to the latest Rowan Flack Release!

Rowan Flack's brand new single ‘Make Me Whole’ was released on 30 January, via Pretty Decent Music.

It’s recently been played on Future Jazz (Jazz FM) and will be featured in Jazzwise sometime in February.

Written in a fjord-side café in Bergen while Rowan was performing in Norway, the track reflects on distance, longing and stillness, shaped by landscape and space.

It’s the first release from her forthcoming EP, Nap on the Sofa, and marks a return to live, unedited recording, captured in one room at 123 Studios in Peckham, featuring vocals, piano, trumpet, double bass, and drums.

Supported by Help Musicians and GENERATE Funding, the EP centres on live performance and will be launched at Jazzlive at The Crypt, London, on 27 February, coinciding with its release.

Rowan Flack is an amazing jazz-folk vocalist and composer who trained at the BRIT School, Trinity Laban (jazz) and Norway’s Edvard Grieg Academy (Norwegian folk and jazz).

Alongside performing, she is an award-winning radio producer and presenter (BJTC Awards for Best Radio Documentary), working with One Jazz, and for BBC Radio 3/6Music with Reduced Listening. She took her MA at City University, studying Broadcast Journalism because she loves telling stories - through music, radio and writing.
